As a Belgian refugee in wartime London, I knew nothing about the trials of the small duchy next to my native country. The suspense and mystery associated with this novel are intriguing and written very intelligently giving readers a feeling of time well spent with the book. As a person who ministers to a lot of occultic people I have found these books to be a go to reference for a "SIMPLE" but "Correct" explaination for a lot of the questions I come across. He is angry about what happened on the stage with Miss Peaches and her taking her whip to his leg. Really cool look back on Keith Morris' life as told by Keith. From the middle of the book (and boy was it a slog to get there) the story speeds up, and the characters run around doing things, and become dynamic interesting people.
